An Italian who lived in the US for several years described the style of Russian tourists with the phrase "where are they going looking like that?" He spoke about this in a conversation with a Russian woman, the material was published in her personal blog "Tut vam ne tam" on the Zen platform.
The man explained that he could always tell Russian women apart from everyone else by their elegant looks. "I thought: where are they going at such a time? A short skirt or dress, makeup, beauty! Why not at work? Probably the husband works, and the wife just dresses up," he suggested.
At the same time, the Italian admitted that it is pleasant to look at such women.
